Just started using MLR i might be missing something terribly easy

I'll explain exactly what i'm doing to get this error

I open up the serial mxb, set it to the right com port, press some
buttons and the "osc out" flashes

I open mlr mxb; load up some .wav files, then select one for each row.

i follow the instructions in help, click DAC raise the volumes, and hit
the button

VROOM its working on the first row, i play a little, then try out second
row. instead of mixing together, it just jumps to the next sound, and
then very soon after max/msp stops recieving signals and in the serial
mxb window the osc "out" light shows no response

why changing row in mlr, would do this i don't know, mind you it still
works fine after a few presses on the next row, then it cuts out. it
might be because i try to press 2 rows at the same time?

after a bit more testing i realise it happens after a few moments now no
matter what i do, one row or 2

i would highly suggest using serialxp or serilaiodotnet instead of
serial.mxb

now!).
