there is an issue with max/msp and the most recent version of os x (10.4.9). cycling 74 is looking into it, it seems but no news yet. they're suggesting not updating for now. if you do update, max/msp will most likely crash on intel macs.

just a heads up to anyone who hasn't yet upgraded, i'm on an intel mac and have had to reinstall the combo update twice because max/msp has mysteriously stopped opening. the combo update isn't foolproof. =\

best thing to do is to use the prebind script from PACE. you should be able to find a URL on the C74 list...
