A few quick points:

1) ksd is MIDI only - you'll need to route the MIDI data somewhere to 
get sound out.

2) ksd hasn't been updated in a while. v0.2 now plays nice with 
monomeserial. Download the new version at 
http://www.stretta.com/~matthew/resources/40h

3) I uploaded an app before. v0.2 is a patcher so anyone is welcome to 
open it and admire my spaghetti and brute force implementation. I'm sure 
there are better ways to accomplish what is in there.

i think the word max/msp itself implies brute-force speghetti code!
