i just helped my mom buy a new mac and discovered that Logic Studio /
Logic Pro 8 came out a few days ago... gear lust!

does anyone else use logic / is anyone else kinda stoked about this
stuff? it looks like they added a bunch of plugins. delay designer looks
godly.

i'll have to take a look.

does anyone use/like ardour? i checked it out last night and my 
expectations were surpassed greatly.

I use both for various reasons both ethical and technical.

I like both very much. I too am excited about Logic Studio!
I am on Logic pro 7 currently.

Yo!! I got Logic 8 last week!! Got the day it was released and I 
absolutely love it!!! I can move so much more faster and a lot more 
intuitive.  If you use Logic 7 a lot, then I think you will love Logic
