working on docs for the new series, trying to make the website read
better, so i'm adding a faq section.

looking for suggestions that i should add.

what i have so far:

do i need to buy max/msp?
what if i'm not a programmer?
will it work on osx, xp, linux?
will it interface with ableton, reason, etc?

a current ordering "status" question. it will constantly be updated, but
at the moment would be:

Q "cool, where can i get one?"
A "at the moment, all the 40hs have gone.you can get a kit here (link).
the 256 will be released in x and we'll start taking orders in y. the
128 and 64 will be ready in z"

Here's some questions I've been asked:

What is Max/MSP/Jitter?
What is RoHS compliance?
Can I load my own samples into it?
What does Monome mean?
Who made it?
Why isn't there a MIDI in/out?
Where does the sound come out?
What's the pattern of lights when you turn it on?
Isn't it just a bunch of buttons with lights?

Where can I hear/see a monome in action?
Why is there no logo on the monome?
Isn't this the same as the Tenori-On?
What is opensource hardware/software and why would I care?
What do I need besides the monome and a computer to make music?
Who writes the monome applications?
Can I use your software with another device?
Where can I learn more about electronic music interface?
