I am trying to use the monome with reason.  I have monomeserial open and
set to midi.  I have a midi device setup in reason. I have both the
input and output set to max/msp input 1 with midi.mxb running. Also I
have monome serial working  set up with the same settings.  When I open
up a keypad in reason i dont hear/get any input.  My question is what do
my settings need to be in both reason and monome serial need to be.

whats with the search? i always get an application error.

with monome serial, you shouldn't need the max patch

use MIDIyoke and set the monomeserial output to one of those ports

then use that port as input in reason

at least that's how I get it going with Ableton

FYI: I'm using OS X so what else can I do seeing as how I do not have 
midi yoke.  Am I missing something within reason that is preventing it 
from working?  (Like wiring the midi to individual keys or something)

well if you are on mac then you have IAC built into the OS!!  :)
